Overfishing and destructive fishing practices have put immense strain on marine ecosystems. The seafood industry not only depletes fish populations but also causes collateral damage to non-target species and disrupts marine habitats. Choosing plant-based protein sources helps alleviate pressure on oceans, allowing them to recover and thrive.
